Pregnant women are advised to have a free flu vaccine. The flu jab will help protect both you and your baby. Flu vaccine is safe to have at any stage of your pregnancy – from the first few weeks right up to your expected delivery date. Pregnant women can get a free flu jab at ante-natal clinic, pharmacy or GP. Taking the flu vaccine while pregnant also protects your baby for the first few months of their lives.
